So easy for Delft

Posted by Tony Rushmer on 3 December 2011

DELFT gave trainer Jeremy Noseda a second winner of the new season with a straightforward success at Wolverhampton tonight.

The Dutch Art filly was fourth on her debut at Kempton in mid-October.

With the benefit of that run under her belt, she had little trouble in making all this evening.

She was stepped up to 7f (from 6f) and jockey Jimmy Fortune jumped her out to lead from the gates.

The 6/5 favourite remained pretty much on the bridle throughout and Fortune partnered her to the most straightforward victories by four and a half lengths.
