Quivery wins again

QUIVERY maintained her 100 per cent record with a solid success at Newmarket yesterday evening.

The Violence filly, owned by Marc Keller, built on her debut victory at Doncaster by winning a seven-furlong novices race on the July Course.

Sent off the 8/11 favourite, she was never too far away although jockey Jamie Spencer had to switch her right approaching the business end of the race.

Quivery picked up well to lead with over a furlong to go and she saw it out well enough to score by three parts of a length.

Trainer Jeremy Noseda said: “It was a pleasing effort from a progressive filly. We will see how she comes out of her race and maybe think about tilting at the Sweet Solera Stakes (Newmarket, August 5) or possibly the May Hill in September (Doncaster, September 15).”
