Gronkowski maintains winning streak

GRONKOWSKI claimed a third straight career success when scoring at Kempton last night.

The rather stop-start nature of the mile conditions stakes didn’t suit the son of Lonrho who didn’t really settle early on.

Spencer decided to let his mount stride on with a sweeping move approaching the half-mile.

The Phoenix Thoroughbred-owned horse was never troubled after that and duly led with just over a furlong remaining.

Court House threw down a late challenge but the 6/4 favourite Gronkowski had everything covered and won comfortably enough.
