Improver Intrepidly wins at Windsor

INTREPIDLY secured the second victory of his career when scoring at Windsor earlier this week.

The son of Medaglia D’Oro, owned by Earle Mack and Tony Hind, got up late on to win a mile and a quarter handicap.

It was a progressive performance after a satisfactory seasonal bow at Sandown last month where Intrepidly was fourth.

Jockey Jamie Spencer brought the 5/2 shot with a sustained late challenge after he was held up for much of the race.

The duo took command in the final half a furlong and the winning margin was a neck.

Trainer Jeremy Noseda’s charge also won on his final start as a two-year-old, landing a Kempton maiden.

Jeremy said "He is a determined and tough horse.  He loved the fast ground and is now two wins from four starts.

"Hopefully he can keep improving through the rest of the season."
