Wins for Jus Pires and Lansky

TRAINER Jeremy Noseda registered two wins in less than 48 hours, thanks to Lansky and Jus Pires.

Lansky, eased in grade, secured the second victory of his career by taking a novices’ race at Kempton.

The Dark Angel colt, owned by Phoenix Thoroughbred Limited, showed a smart turn of foot to surge from the back to lead inside the final furlong.

Under jockey Kieran Shoemark, he sped into a gap and asserted in stylish fashion, going on to score readily by three parts of a length.

Monday at Windsor saw Jus Pires return to winning ways – albeit by a nose!

Owner Nigel O’Sullivan’s colt was stepped up to a mile and a quarter for the first time and just saw the trip out for jockey Sean Levey.

Having been ridden prominently, Jus Pires took the lead with over a furlong to go and, thanks to Levey’s encouragement, managed to hold on for an 8/1 success.
